Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
By using Qurrah (the website www.qurrah.me and the app installed from it), you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Qurrah is a tool that helps children memorize and review the Holy Quran through listening, repetition and games, with an area where the parent or guardian can follow their progress. The service is currently free. If we add paid features, we will make this clear in advance and will not charge you anything without your consent.
2. The account and the parent
- The account is created by an adult parent or guardian (aged 18 or over), who is responsible for the account and for their children's use of the app.
- The child uses the app under the supervision of their parent or guardian, and does not create an account themselves.
- Keep your way of signing in (your email, password or Google account) confidential, and tell us if you suspect that someone else has signed in.
- Enter accurate information, and add only children of whom you are the parent or guardian, or for whom you are responsible with their parent's or guardian's permission, such as a carer, a teacher or a school.
3. Content you upload
The photos, recordings and names you add remain yours. You give us a limited permission to store them and show them to you and to those you allow (such as in “Heroes of the week”), only to run and improve the service; the Qurrah team may listen to some recordings to improve the app and fix problems, as described in the Privacy Policy, and we never publish or share them with anyone. You undertake that you have the right to upload them: upload only photos of children of whom you are the parent or guardian, or for whom you are responsible with their parent's or guardian's permission, and no inappropriate photos. We may refuse any photo, or remove it from “Heroes of the week”, without giving a reason.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service for any unlawful or abusive purpose.
- Try to access other families' data, disrupt or overload the service, or get around its protections.
- Enter offensive or false (impersonating) names in “Heroes of the week”, or manipulate points.
- Copy, sell or republish the app as another service.
5. The Quranic text and recitations
The Quranic text, the recitations and the tafsir (explanation) come from recognized sources that are available for use, and we take care to keep them accurate. If you notice any mistake, please tell us right away so that we can correct it. The app is a learning aid and does not replace a teacher or sheikh who corrects recitation and tajweed.
6. Intellectual property
Qurrah's design, logo, characters, illustrations, sounds and code belong to Qurrah or its licensors. You may use them within the app for personal and family, non-commercial purposes.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service running at all times, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes stop for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may add, change or discontinue features. If your data matters to you, keep a copy of it using “Download family data”.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any indirect loss resulting from using the service or being unable to use it, including the loss of data that was saved only on your device without an account.
9. Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account and all of its data from “Settings”. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you the reason where possible.
10. Changes to these terms and contact
We may update these terms, and we will tell you about any material change before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, it means you accept the change.
