QurrahSurah Al-Anfal, Ayah 32 (8:32)
وَإِذْ قَالُوا۟ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَـٰذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ٣٢
wa-idh qālū l-lahuma in kāna hādhā huwa l-ḥaqa min ʿindika fa-amṭir ʿalaynā ḥijāratan mina l-samāi awi i'tinā biʿadhābin alīm

And [remember] when they said, "O Allāh, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment."

The words of the ayah
Your child memorizes the ayah word by word, then puts the words back in order in the “Put the words in order” game:
وَإِذْقَالُوا۟ٱللَّهُمَّإِنكَانَهَـٰذَاهُوَٱلْحَقَّمِنْعِندِكَفَأَمْطِرْعَلَيْنَاحِجَارَةًۭمِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِأَوِٱئْتِنَابِعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍۢ
Memorize it with your child in Qurrah
In Qurrah, your child memorizes the ayah step by step:
- They listen to the ayah from the teaching sheikh.
- They repeat it with him two or three times.
- They recite it from memory and record their voice for a parent to hear.
- It comes back in review until it sticks.
