QurrahSurah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 48 (2:48)
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَـٰعَةٌ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ٤٨
wa-ittaqū yawman lā tajzī nafsun ʿan nafsin shayan walā yuq'balu min'hā shafāʿatun walā yu'khadhu min'hā ʿadlun walā hum yunṣarūn
The meaning of the ayah
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.

The words of the ayah
Your child memorizes the ayah word by word, then puts the words back in order in the “Put the words in order” game:
وَٱتَّقُوا۟يَوْمًۭالَّاتَجْزِىنَفْسٌعَننَّفْسٍۢشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَايُقْبَلُمِنْهَاشَفَـٰعَةٌۭوَلَايُؤْخَذُمِنْهَاعَدْلٌۭوَلَاهُمْيُنصَرُونَ
Memorize it with your child in Qurrah
In Qurrah, your child memorizes the ayah step by step:
- They listen to the ayah from the teaching sheikh.
- They repeat it with him two or three times.
- They recite it from memory and record their voice for a parent to hear.
- It comes back in review until it sticks.
