QurrahSurah Al-Mumtahanah, Ayah 3 (60:3)
لَن تَنفَعَكُمْ أَرْحَامُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ ۚ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ ٣
lan tanfaʿakum arḥāmukum walā awlādukum yawma l-qiyāmati yafṣilu baynakum wal-lahu bimā taʿmalūna baṣīr
The meaning of the ayah
Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And Allāh, of what you do, is Seeing.

The words of the ayah
Your child memorizes the ayah word by word, then puts the words back in order in the “Put the words in order” game:
لَنتَنفَعَكُمْأَرْحَامُكُمْوَلَآأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ ۚيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِيَفْصِلُبَيْنَكُمْ ۚوَٱللَّهُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَبَصِيرٌۭ
Memorize it with your child in Qurrah
In Qurrah, your child memorizes the ayah step by step:
- They listen to the ayah from the teaching sheikh.
- They repeat it with him two or three times.
- They recite it from memory and record their voice for a parent to hear.
- It comes back in review until it sticks.
