Qurrahقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ١
qul aʿūdhu birabbi l-nās
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

Memorize Surah An-Nas with your childبِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٢
maliki l-nās
The Sovereign of mankind,
إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٣
ilāhi l-nās
The God of mankind,
مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ ٤
min sharri l-waswāsi l-khanās
From the evil of the retreating whisperer -
ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٥
alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri l-nās
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -
مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ٦
mina l-jinati wal-nās
From among the jinn and mankind".
Memorize it with your child in Qurrah
In Qurrah, your child memorizes the surah step by step:
- They listen to the ayah from the teaching sheikh.
- They repeat it with him two or three times.
- They recite it from memory and record their voice for a parent to hear.
- It comes back in review until it sticks.
