QurrahSurah Sad, Ayah 43 (38:43)
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ ٤٣
wawahabnā lahu ahlahu wamith'lahum maʿahum raḥmatan minnā wadhik'rā li-ulī l-albāb
The meaning of the ayah
And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding.

- They listen to the ayah from the teaching sheikh.
- They repeat it with him two or three times.
- They recite it from memory and record their voice for a parent to hear.
- It comes back in review until it sticks.
