Qalqalah for kids (القلقلة) 🏀

Qalqalah: the letter makes a little bounce

It has five letters: ق ط ب ج د. We hear Qalqalah when the letter has a sukun, or when we stop on it at the end of a word. The bounce is clearest when we stop, like the د at the end of ﴿أَحَدٌ﴾.

قطبجد

The two words “قُطْبُ جَدٍّ” (qutbu jaddin) hold all five letters.
